Screen-printing workshops

Designed for companies, event agencies, institutions, schools and larger organised groups. After a short workshop, every participant leaves with a T-shirt or bag they have printed themselves. The format works well as part of a festival or company event. We also introduce children and school groups aged 8 and over to screen printing. Workshops can take place in our studio or at a venue chosen by the organiser, indoors or outdoors.

Workshop plan
During the workshop, we work with artwork prepared by the participants. It can take the form of vector files, raster graphics, drawings, photographs or collages.
We introduce the basic functions in Adobe software needed to prepare artwork for screen printing.
Participants expose the screens for their prepared artwork themselves, with our guidance.
You will learn how screen-printing inks are prepared and select pairs of colours that work together.
Registration, setup and measurement—the essential preparation before printing begins.
Each participant receives 10 sheets of A3 decorative paper to turn their artwork into a screen-printed poster.
Alongside printing on paper, each participant will also print their own design on a cotton bag.
Participants may also bring their own items—T-shirts, sweatshirts or cotton blanks—to print on. You may bring no more than 2 additional items.
What will you receive?
10 sheets of decorative paper (A3) and 1 cotton bag
You may prepare 1 design, which we will transfer onto a screen. It may use no more than 2 colours.
After the workshop, you will receive a presentation summarising everything covered.
You will learn how to use screen printing for your own projects.
