“If I could introduce one custom to Poland that is common throughout Morocco, it would be the ability to order a pot of Chinese green tea enriched with the essential ingredient: fresh Moroccan mint. The time of day, region or gender does not matter—conversations over tea can last for hours. The artwork was inspired by the rug-making style of the Taznakht region.

This poster was modelled on Beni Ouarani rugs, Morocco’s best-known weaving style. They traditionally feature very minimalist geometric patterns combined with natural, undyed fields of colour. Beni Ourain rugs are exceptionally thick and warm, which is why they originally served as coverings for Berber tribes living in the High Atlas, where winters can be truly freezing.”
