Treat yourself or someone close to you to a screen-printing gift!
INDIVIDUAL WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
The participant will create 2-3 designs and then transfer them to a chosen surface such as paper, a cotton tote bag or a T-shirt. We provide each participant with 25 sheets of paper (max. size 50x70cm), 2 cotton tote bags and 1 white T-shirt.
The workshop covers:
- The basics of preparing files in Adobe Illustrator.
- Preparing designs without a computer, or using previously supplied files created in graphics software
- Printing film positives
- Preparing the screen
- Exposing the screen
- Printing on paper as a poster, on a cotton tote bag and on a T-shirt
- Mixing colours by hand
- A presentation documenting the workshop
- You will also learn how to set up your own print studio on a modest budget
Format: Individual
Duration: 8h
Date: To be arranged. The workshop is split into 2 meetings (2x4h), on dates chosen by the participant.
