Workshop plan
The individual workshop covers both simple multi-colour artwork and full-colour reproduction, for example from a photograph. The participant prepares no more than 3 designs.
We introduce the basic functions in Adobe software needed to prepare artwork for screen printing, covering both vector and raster graphics.
Participants expose the screens for their prepared artwork themselves, with our guidance, and learn how screens are prepared.
Participants expose the screens for their prepared artwork themselves, with our guidance.
Learn how screen-printing inks are prepared and select pairs of colours that work together. Each participant will also mix a custom colour from a base and pigments.
Each participant receives 10 sheets of A3 decorative paper to turn their artwork into a screen-printed poster.
Registration, setup and measurement—the essential preparation before printing begins 🙂
Each participant receives 25 sheets of decorative paper up to A3, or 12 sheets of B2 paper, to turn their artwork into a screen-printed poster.
Alongside printing on paper, each participant will also print their own design on two cotton bags.
Participants may also bring their own items—T-shirts, sweatshirts or cotton blanks—to print on.
PLEASE NOTE: The workshop plan is a guide. We tailor the final programme to the participant’s needs.
What will you receive?
25 sheets of decorative paper up to A3, or 12 sheets in B2, plus 2 cotton bags
You may prepare 3 designs for us to transfer onto screens.
After the workshop, you will receive a presentation summarising everything covered.
You will learn how to use screen printing for your own projects.
